Coroner Seeks Family Of Late Allentown Man
The Lehigh County Coroner's Office is asking for the public's help to locate a 68-year-old's next of kin. Scott D. Torrence of Allentown died from natural causes at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown campus, on Monday, March 11, said Coroner Daniel Buglio in a release. Anyone who can contact his loved ones is asked to call 610-782-3426 or email danielbuglio@lehighcounty.org.

Miguel Dalmasi Killed In Allentown Shooting
A 33-year-old Alburtis man was killed in an Allentown shooting over the weekend, officials said. Miguel Steven Dalmasi was shot at the intersection of East Walnut Street at South Dauphin Street around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. The manner of death a was ruled a homicide and an autopsy will be completed on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The Allentown Police Department, Lehigh County Homicide Task Force and the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office are investigating.

Gabriel Cartagena In Custody: Police
Gabriel Cartagena, the 44-year-old man wanted in connection with a double homicide last month in Allentown, has surrendered, police announced. Cartagena turned himself in on Thursday, Jan. 4, after warrants for his arrest on two counts of criminal homicide, attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and various weapons offenses were issued, Allentown Police Chief Charles Roca said. A 65-year-old woman has been identified by the Lehigh County Coroner following a New Year's Day house fire in Harrisburg. Brenda L. Cuff of Harrisburg was pronounced dead in the Lehigh Valley Burn Center at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest at 4:35 a.m. on Tuesday, January 02, 2024, coroner Daniel Buglio detailed in the release. Lehigh Coroner Seeks Family Of Woman Found In Tent
Authorities are searching for the next of kin for a woman who died in Allentown last week. Desiree Ann Serrano was found dead in a tent on the 300 block of West Gordon Street on Friday afternoon, Nov. 10, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. She was 32. Her cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, but there are no suspicious circumstances, the Coroner's Office added. 16-Year-Old Dead In Crash Near Emmaus High School: Coroner
A 16-year-old boy was killed in a crash near a Lehigh County high school on Tuesday, Oct. 31, officials said. The boy was traveling in a vehicle the two-car crash at North Street and Cedar Crest Boulevard near the Emmaus High Schoo, just before 3 p.m., Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. An Upper Milford man who was badly hurt after colliding with a tractor-trailer in Bucks County last month has succumbed to his wounds, authorities say. Thirty-eight-year-old Jeremy Kiefer died from multiple traumatic injuries late on Saturday, Oct. 7, Coroner Daniel Buglio said. Evyn Hummel of Slatington was involved in a crash with another motor vehicle near 3016 Main St., Washington Township at 1:17 p.m. on Aug. 18, according to Buglio. Deadly Tractor-Trailer Crash Shuts Part Of I-78
A deadly crash involving a tractor-trailer closed parts of I-78 Sunday, July 23 in Lehigh County. The crash occurred on the westbound side near mile maker 47.6 in Upper Macungie Township around 1:30 p.m., according to the PennDOT website. A male was pronounced dead at the scene, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. All westbound lanes were closed as traffic was redirected. Pennsylvania State Police were investigating.

Victim Identified In Deadly Allentown Shooting
Authorities have identified the man gunned down in an Allentown back alley in the early morning hours on Sunday, June 11. Terrel Meitzler, 24, died of gunshot wounds and the manner of death was homicide, said Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio in a statement. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, June 13, he added. The shooting happened on the corner of Grant and Pine streets, Buglio said. Allentown police are also investigating Meitzler's death.
