An Emmaus woman who was reported missing early on Tuesday, Feb. 13 was found dead near the railroad tracks in Alburtis Borough on Wednesday morning, Feb. 14, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. Catherine E. Blank, 46, was pronounced dead on the 4700 block of Indian Creek road around 8:30 a.m., Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said in a release. Officials Seek Relatives Of Late Allentown Man
Lehigh County officials are asking for the public's help in finding a late Allentown man's loved ones. Jerry Woodrow, 64, was pronounced dead on the 100 block of North 7th Street on Sunday morning, Dec. 31, according to the Coroner's Office. His cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, but there are no suspicious circumstances, said Coroner Daniel A. Buglio. A Lehigh County man has died after becoming pinned under his car, authorities say. Ariel Fernandez-Fernandez, 36, of Whitehall Township, was working on a vehicle in the garage at his home sometime before noon on Sunday, Dec. 18 when the car slipped off the jacks, said county Coroner Daniel A. Buglio in a statement. Fernandez-Fernandez was trapped under the car's rear axle and asphyxiated to death, the coroner said. The incident was also investigated by Whitehall police, he added.
