Crash Shutters PA Turnpike At Dauphin/Lebanon County Line A crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike/Interstate 76 caused delays across Dauphin and Lebanon counties on Thursday night. The crash closed eastbound lanes of I-76 between mile marker 247.6 to 266.8; Harrisburg East and Lebanon-Lancaster, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. HazMat, MedEvac At Maryland Crash Caused Delays On I-83 In Pennsylvania A serious multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 83 caused delays which led to another crash in Pennsylvania, authorities told Daily Voice on Thursday.  The serious crash in Maryland happened at I-83 North just before Exit 36:MD Route 339/Old York Road. The call to Baltimore County dispatchers came in at 6:47 a.m. on Dec 21.  The crash initially shuttered both north and southbound lanes near Parkton, authorities explained. RV Sparks Mile Long Brush Fire Halting Traffic On I-81 Near MD/PA Line: PennDOT (Video) An RV fire turned brush fire halted traffic on Interstate 81 near the Maryland and Pennsylvania state lines on Wednesday, authorities told Daily Voice.  The RV's brakes caught fire near 14: PA 316 - Wayne Avenue around 2:27 p.m. on Oct. 25, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Fritzi Schreffler explained.  The fire quickly spread causing "about a mile's worth of brush fires," she said noting that the "RV was pulling a vehicle and they (were both) fully engulfed in flames." Crash On US 222 Causing Delays In Ephrata (Developing) A multi-vehicle crash is causing major delays on US 222 in Ephrata, authorities say.  A van hauling a trailer flipped over by mile marker 39.4 on US 222 northbound near Peach Road, West Earl Township just after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 13, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. The crash shuttered the highway between exits PA 772 to Brownstown or Rothsville and US 322 to Ephrata as of 2:27 p.m. according to PennDOT.  Major delays are ongoing but no injuries have been reported as of 3 p.m. Follow Daily Voice for updates.

Multi-Vehicle Crash On I-83 In Central PA: PennDOT A multi-vehicle crash is causing major delays on Interstate 83 in Central Pennsylvania on Friday, June 16, 2023, according to PennDOT. The crash involves a tractor-trailer and at least one passenger vehicle on I-83, according to radio broadcasts from first responders. It was reported just after 11 a.m. according to York County emergency dispatch.  The crash has closed the northbound lanes between Exits 39A: PA 114 - Lewisberry Road and 40A: Limekiln Road. Children Airlifted In Bucks County Crash, Police Say Two children were flown to a nearby hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Bucks County, authorities said. The crash involving a trash truck and SUV happened at the intersection of Route 113 and Minsi Trail in Hilltown Township around 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, local police said. The kids, who were riding in the SUV, were airlifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital with serious injuries, Hilltown police said.
