MILES OF Backups: Crash Closed All Lanes Of I-81 In Central PA, PennDOT Says A crash shuttered all lanes of Interstate 81 Northbound in Central Pennsylvania, authorities say.  The crash was between exits 48 to PA 74- York Road and 52A to US 11 North-New Kingstown, according to 511PA. The crash happened at 8:14 a.m. on Aug. 25. The roadway repopened around noon. The number of vehicles or people involved is unclear.  Check back here for updates.

7 People Hospitalized Following Crash In Lititz Seven people were injured following a crash into a tree in Lititz, area police announced on Thursday, September 15.  The crash happened in the  300 Block of South Broad Street/State Route 501 at 6:21 p.m. on Sept. 1, according to Lititz Borough police.  A man driving the van picture exited the left lane for an unknown reason and "struck a tree which was located adjacent to the roadway," police say. The crash involving a tractor-trailer going north on I-81 happened between Exit 80: PA 743 -GRANTVILLE/HERSHEY and Exit 85B: FORT INDIANTOWN GAP around 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, according to the Pennsylvania department of transportation.
