High Winds Leave Thousands Without Power In Central PA Almost 4,000 PPL customers are without power in Central Pennsylvania following a windy weekend.  As of 10 a.m. on Monday, April 15, the majority of outages were approximately as follows, according to the outage map: Lockhaven 900. Bloomsburg 704. Selinsgrove 658. Listeria Prompts Recall Of These Spinach, Salad Kits Packaged In PA A voluntary recall has been issued across seven states for BrightFarms spinach and four salad kits, the FDA announced on Wednesday, Jan. 17. The recall includes spinach grown by BrightFarms's supplier, Element Farms, located in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. Brightfarms has temporarily suspended the distribution of any spinach grown at the farm due to the recall. Woman Found Dead At PA Motel Was 'Most Beautiful Kind Generous' Family Says A woman described as "kind and funny" was found dead at a motel, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Nov. 13. Tiffany Kay Judge, 35, of Yardley, Pennsylvania, was found dead in a room at Valley Lodge Motel on Monday, according to a release by the state police. Troopers from Selinsgrove were called for "a death investigation" at the motel located at 2103 North Susquehanna Trail in Monroe Township, Snyder County, as stated in the release.   Their investigation is ongoing, Trooper Jeffrey Tice wrote.  Tiffany dated Anthony Busard, according to her sister.
