9 Escaped Inmates Recaptured After Riot At 'Secure' PA Facility (

All nine juveniles that broke out of Abraxas Academy juvenile detention center have been recaptured, Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Beohm said on Monday morning. The teens escaped the "secure youth treatment facility" Abraxas Academy located at 1000 Academy Drive, Morgantown, Caernarvon Township, on Sunday, Sept. 17 around 8 p.m., according to area police. 'Police Situation' In Central PA Caused By Man Who Threw Bricks At Police Authorities Say
A "police situation" happened in Harrisburg when officers attempted to apprehend a man wanted on felony charges in connection with three separate situations— including one where he threw bricks at police during a protest, authorities say. The last of four men who admitted torching a police car during a riot following a civil rights protest in Trenton was sentenced to 2½ years in federal prison. Earlja J.
