Dog Shot Dead Inside Lancaster County Home, Police Say A Lancaster County man "shot and killed his dog inside his residence," on Thursday, police announced on Oct 23. Mark Teague, 63, of Denver, shot the dog after an unknown "incident" at his home in the first block of Main Street in Denver at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Oct. 19, according to the release by East Cocalico police.  Officers arrived at his home following the shooting, after receiving reports of "shots fired," as stated in the release.
