Child Sex Offender Escapes Lebanon Hospital, Police Say A 47-year-old convicted sex offender escaped from police custody at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon city police announced in a release on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Ryan Matthew Moyer fled from his hospital room "where he was being guarded by officers from Lebanon County Correctional Facility," on March 25, 2023, police say.  The reason Moyer was in the hospital was not released.  Moyer is a registered sex offender since 2001 for "indecent liberties with a child." Lebanon Burglar Caught With Help Of Neighbor, Police Say A neighbor saw a 21-year-old Lebanon man entering and exiting a home he was burglarizing through a window on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, authorities say.  The neighbor quickly contacted the city police and they arrived and set up a perimeter around 620 South 7th Street around 11:05 a.m., according to a release LCPD issued later that day.  While the police were on scene investigating, "officers observed a bag being thrown out of one of the windows. PA Man Attempted Escape During Appearance Before Judge, Police Say A Pennsylvania man attempted to escape during an appearance before a judge, according to police. Palmyra Police arrested Rico Dewayne Hicks, 37, of Lebanon, who attempted to escape and flee from police while at the office of Magisterial District Judge Carl Garver located at 325 South Railroad Street in Palmyra on Wednesday, according to a statement released by Palmyra Borough police. Hicks was present in Judge Garver's courtroom for three preliminary hearings, according to several court dockets.
