A 35-year-old York man has been charged for pooping on the floor in a police station holding cell. While being held on a simple assault charge Dristan L. Elliott pooped on his holding cell floor at the Columbia Borough Police Station on May 26, according to a release on June 7, 2023. It appears officers might not have realized what happened as he was moved to the Lancaster County Prison where he was held for the simple assault charge until June 6 when he posted 10 % of a $5,000 bail in surety bonds. Drunk Man Shatters Cell Door At Cumberland County Booking Center, Police Say
A 39-year-old Carlisle man shattered the plexiglass cell door at the Cumberland County Booking Center on Feb. 23, 2023, authorities say. Dakota Lee Roush, was being booked for public drunkenness in Middlesex Township when he "intentionally kicked a cell door causing the thick plexiglass to break," township police state in the release. A 31-year-old man injured a police officer who was arresting him for assaulting a pregnant woman, authorities say. Lititz Borough police were called to a domestic assault involving Jordan Davone Mansbarger in the 200 block of South Broad Road in Lititz on Monday, Oct. 31 at 3:50 p.m., according to a release by the department the following night. A Pennsylvania man has been sentenced to prison for toppling the Christopher Columbus statue with a brick in June 2021, according to the Lancaster County district attorney's office. Francisco Rodriguez Jr., 34, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to three separate counts of institutional vandalism, one felony and two misdemeanors, and two counts of possessing an instrument of crime, both misdemeanors, according to a release by the district attorney's office. A homeless man in Lancaster County has been arrested and charged for breaking into the Lancaster County courthouse and toppling a statue of Christopher Columbus, according to area police. Francisco Rodriguez Jr., 34, is accused of taking a brick shattering a glass pane door of the Lancaster County courthouse and toppling a bust of Christopher Columbus on June 30.
