$30K Of Jewelry Pawned By Retirement Community Employee In Mechanicsburg: Police An 52-year-old employee at a retirement community broken into 12 homes, stole more than $30,000 worth of jewelry and pawned it, police announced on Monday, April 17, 2023.  Gary Lee Troup Sr., told police he pawned the goods, when he was questioned and arrested on April 13— but the investigation the thefts began on Jan. 11 and the first theft was in late 2022, Lower Allen Township police explained in the release.  The Mount Wolf resident was a maintenance worker at Bethany Village West when he broken into the homes, according to the police.  Troup has been charged with 25 of…
