Tractor-Trailer Driver Hospitalized, I-81 Reopens After Crash In Lebanon County (Update) Part of Interstate 81 has reopened following a crash in Central Pennsylvania, authorities say. An empty tractor-trailer rolled down an embankment on I-81 around 10 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023, authorities told Daily Voice.  The driver has been hospitalized according to Pennsylvania State Police.  The fuel tank of the tractor-trailer ruptured in the crash, state police explained.  The area that was affected is the southbound lanes between Exit 100: PA 442 - Pine Grove and Exit 90: PA 72 - Lebanon near the Dauphin and Lebanon county line, according to the Pennsylvania Depar…

Deadly Tractor-Trailer Crash On I-81 Closes All Lanes In Central PA For 10 Miles A deadly crash involving a tractor-trailer has closed all lanes along a stretch of Interstate 81 in central Pennsylvania, according to the Pennsylvania department of transportation. The shutdown is between Exit 100: PA 443 - PINE GROVE and Exit 90: PA 72 - LEBANON starting at 8:17 a.m. on Friday, July 15, PennDOT says. The crash is fatal and involves a van and a tractor-trailer, according to Schuykill County emergency dispatchers.
