Ray Keith Weir, 50, of Ephrata has been identified as the person driving a black Volkswagen Jetta which left the eastbound lanes on Route 487 and entered the opposing lane of traffic near the Route 54 intersection around 4:15 p.m. in Elysburg, Rapho Township police say and the Northumberland County Coroner's office confirms. Zachary Scott Lauderman was found shot twice in the head in his home on the first block of Ulsh Lane in Bethel Township at 2:50 p.m. Sept. 10, 2021, the said Thursday.
