Vincent Sosnowski Convicted For Killing Melissa Morrissey
Three years after a Mysterstown mom died in a crash, the driver who caused it has been convicted, the Lebanon County District Attorney's Office announced on Feb. 21. "On January 16, 2021, Melissa Morrissey was killed as a result of the drunken, reckless behavior of Vincent Sosnowski," DA Pier Hess Graf states in the release. Drunk Man With Car Full Of Cocaine Crashes Into Patrol Cars In Carlisle, Police Say
A drunk man driving around five marked patrol cars and an ambulance with emergency lighting activated at the scene of an accident was found with illegal drugs and firearms in his fire vehicle authorities say. Jimmie L. Phillips struck at least one of the police cars in the 300 block of Kingsley Road Lower Allen Township on Jan. 27 at 1:20 a.m., according to a release on Feb. 10 by area police. DUI Driver Missing Tire Led 100+ MPH Police Pursuit In Central PA: Authorities
A 31-year-old driver had been drinking when he led police on a 100 mph pursuit, but was tracked down by police who followed the scrape marks from the rim of his car that had lost a tire, they said. A man later identified as Kenneth Pohlit was spotted stumbling around near Grandview Drive and Golf Course Road around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, Carroll Township police said. An angry South Jersey police officer doused a drunk driver with pepper spray twice after he’d been handcuffed, then filed a false report about the incident, an indictment returned by a federal grand jury on Thursday alleges.
