Man Shot In Face In Harrisburg, Police Say A man has been shot in the face and his attempted killer is being sought by the police following a 3 a.m. shooting on Friday, May 26, 2023, Harrisburg Bureau of Police announced around 4 p.m. that same day.  Michael E. Harrisburg Homeowner Shoots Burglar Armed with Knife: Police A man armed with a butcher's knife was shot by a homeowner during an attempted robbery on Friday Oct. 21, authorities say. Keon Washington, 32, of Palmyra, kicked down the door of a home in the area of Disbrow and Carnation streets on Oct. 21 at around 4:45 p.m., according to the release by the Harrisburg police.
