Patrol Car Strikes 5-Year-Old Girl, Philadelphia Police Say
A child was hospitalized after being struck by a police car in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday night, June 4, authorities say. A patrol officer hit a 5-year-old girl on the 1600 block of South Ithan Street just before 7:30 p.m., PPD said. She was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and is reportedly in stable condition. No one else was injured and the crash is under investigation, police said.

A child has been hospitalized after they were shot with walking in a park on Thursday morning, according to a release by Harrisburg police The child had been walking along the Riverfront Park Trail in the 500 block of South Front Street in Harrisburg, when "they heard a shot and realized that they had been hit," police say. Child, 6, Woman, 28, Shot In Harrisburg
A child and a woman were shot Monday night in Harrisburg. The shooting happened in the 1400 block of Berryhill Street before 7 p.m., according to area police. When officers arrived, they found two victims, a 6-year-old and a 28-year-old woman. Both victims were taken to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
