Missing Boy, 9, Found Dead In PA Pond
The body of a 9-year-old boy who had gone missing was pulled from a Pennsylvania pond on Monday evening, June 19, officials said. Police arriving at the pond located at Vaux and Hickory drives in New Britain Borough saw a boy’s bicycle with a fishing pole next to it, around 5:50 p.m., the Central Bucks Regional Police Department said. A dive team from Point Pleasant Fire Department responded and found the young boy within minutes. He was taken to Doylestown Hospital where he was pronounced dead just after 7 p.m., police said. A Texas-based group aimed at catching online child predators helped police in the Philadelphia suburbs nab a 23-year-old Montgomery County man who thought he was meeting a 13-year-old boy for sex, according to court documents obtained by NorthPennNow. An arrestee is facing additional charges after spitting on an officer in Bucks County, authorities said. Kristen M. Most, 30, of no fixed address, was being processed on charges from the surrounding area when she became "irate" and "confrontational" after a judge remanded her to prison on Tuesday, June 21, according to the Central Bucks Regional Police Department. A suburban Philadelphia high school choir teacher has been accused of using a hidden camera to record a former student undressing at his home, authorities in Bucks County said. Joseph Ohrt, 56, of Buckingham Township, on Tuesday, was charged with one felony count of intercepting oral communications and four felony counts of possessing a device for intercepting communications, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
