Newark Flight Attendant From PA Dies After Spinout Crash With Tractor Trailer On Route 78
Jennifer Friedel-Hoffman, a 60-year-old Pennsylvania resident, was killed in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey on Wednesday, May 29. A tractor-trailer was parked and unoccupied on the right shoulder on Route 78 West in Lebanon when a Subaru driven by Friedel-Hoffman entered the area and struck the left rear of the truck just after 9 a.m., New Jersey State Police said. The crash caused the Subaru to spin out and hit a Volkswagen passenger car traveling in the right lane, police said. Friedel-Hoffman was taken to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Patrol Car Strikes 5-Year-Old Girl, Philadelphia Police Say
A child was hospitalized after being struck by a police car in Southwest Philadelphia on Tuesday night, June 4, authorities say. A patrol officer hit a 5-year-old girl on the 1600 block of South Ithan Street just before 7:30 p.m., PPD said. She was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and is reportedly in stable condition. No one else was injured and the crash is under investigation, police said.

A 13-year-old boy is accused of killing an 18-year-old high school senior just three days before his graduation. Zahkee Talib-Davis has been charged as an adult with Murder and Carrying a Firearm Without a License following the shooting death of Tyron Perrin, the Susquehanna Township Police announced on June 5. One suspect is still on the loose after a wild pursuit across two counties in Central Pennsylvania, according to a State Police release on Wednesday. Two men were spotted trying to break into a vehicle at the Ciocca Honda dealership located at 8001 Allentown Boulevard, West Hanover Township, around 5:45 a.m. on June 5, troopers detailed. Lamour Curtis Branch was arrested early Wednesday, June 5 for the murders of Angelito Caraballo and Hunter Mock, troopers say. "Over the past several months, numerous investigative measures were utilized to identify the individual responsible for the double homicide," state police said Wednesday. CASE: Troopers Find New Leads In PA Woman's 1997 Murder
State police say they are making progress in their investigation of Patricia Woll's homicide. Woll, 43, was living on River Road in Damascus Township, Wayne County when her house caught fire on Aug. 28, 1997. She was found dead inside after firefighters beat the blaze. A "detailed investigation" led state police to declare the fire an arson and Woll's death a homicide. "Several new investigatory leads and evidence have been uncovered and are activity being pursued by investigators," said troopers in a release on May 31.
