High School Student Killed In ATV Crash, Pennsylvania State Police Say
An all-terrain vehicle rollover crash has led to the death of a Pequea Valley High School student. Tyler Yoder, 18 of Narvon previously of Rohrerstown and Lancaster, passed away following the ATV crash in the 5800 block of Northeimer Road in Salisbury Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police. That crash happened around 8:41 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, PSP explained in a release. CASE: Troopers Find New Leads In PA Woman's 1997 Murder
State police say they are making progress in their investigation of Patricia Woll's homicide. Woll, 43, was living on River Road in Damascus Township, Wayne County when her house caught fire on Aug. 28, 1997. She was found dead inside after firefighters beat the blaze. A "detailed investigation" led state police to declare the fire an arson and Woll's death a homicide. "Several new investigatory leads and evidence have been uncovered and are activity being pursued by investigators," said troopers in a release on May 31. A bicyclist struck a child exiting a school bus in York County and failed to report the incident to any authorities, so the police have released the bus's dashcam video in hopes of tracking him down. A 10-year-old boy from North Salem Elementary School was struck by the bicyclists while exiting the school bus with several other students in the 2600 block of West Canal Road around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, according to the release by the Northern York County Regional Police Department on June 4. A 22-year-old driving a Kia was shot at along US Route 30 on Monday evening, the Northern York County Regional Police Department announced the following day. Shots were fired at a 2007 Kia SUV on US Route 30 East just east of Breezeview Drive on June 3, NYCRPD detailed in the release. Less than one month after he was sworn in Greencastle Police Department Chief, Keith Russell has died, according to a release by the department on Saturday, June 6.
