Undercover Cop Nabs Sex Offender In PA Child Prostitution Sting, Police Say
A 62-year-old sex offender who thought he was chatting online with 12 and 14-year-old girls, was in for a surprise when he arranged to meet. US Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Jeffrey Pettinato after he set up the meeting with the 14-year-old girl for Oct. 22 and paid her "money for her to perform sexual acts on him," the Derry Township police stated in a release on Nov. 7. A felon who attempted to set his home on fire has been arrested following a stand-off in Lower Paxton Township, area police announced on Sunday, February 12, 2023. The younger brother of a wanted man and son of a registered sex offender has been arrested following a standoff on Tuesday, Jan. 3, authorities say. Nofil Gulfam Swati, 26, had called 911 after a threat posted on social media was causing concern, according to a release around 6 p.m. by the Lower Paxton Township police. A man has been charged with attempted homicide in connection with an road-rage fueled shooting in the Harrisburg area, according to area police. Tasheen Isaah Isom, 19, of Harrisburg, was taken into custody by the Lower Paxton Township Police Department on Wednesday, according to a statement released by police.
