Pedestrian Killed On Schuylkill Expressway In Philadelphia: PSP A pedestrian's death on the Schuylkill Expressway early Friday morning, Sept. 15, was confirmed by state police to Daily Voice.  The victim was fatally struck near the intersection with Spring Garden Street around 3 a.m., according to Trooper Michele Naab.  Their name was not released pending notification of loved ones, she added.  PSP continues to investigate.

Motorcyclist Run Over By Several Cars, Killed In Schuylkill County Crash A 42-year-old motorcyclist was ejected from his bike, struck by several cars and killed in a Schuylkill Expressway crash Thursday night, authorities said. The motorcyclist, whose name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was heading westbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control and crashed at mile marker 329.1 in Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania State Police said. The motorcyclist was ejected into the left lane of travel and struck by numerous vehicles. 1 Dead, 1 Injured In Schuylkill Expressway Crash One person died and another was injured when two cars overturned on the Schuylkill Expressway overnight Friday, officials said. The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes in Upper Merion Township, near mile maker 330. A collision caused both vehicles to overturned, a preliminary investigation suggests.
