Lititz's Luician Li's Funeral Scheduled After Chester County Crash
A week after he succumbed to his injuries after a Chester County highway crash, loved ones and neighbors are memorializing Lititz student-athlete Lucian Li. Investigators have said 42-year-old Matthew DeAngelis was headed the wrong way on Route 202 when he crashed head-on into Li's Volkswagen Taos just after midnight on Friday, July 14. DeAngelis was pronounced dead at the scene, while 19-year-old Li died on Monday, July 17, Daily Voice reported. Stray Bullet Kills NJ Teen Carrying Groceries Into His Home
UPDATE: A college-bound Paterson teen was carrying in his grandmother's groceries when he was struck and killed by a stray bullet outside the family's home, loved ones said. Robert Cuadra, 18, was hit when someone fired no fewer than 16 rounds on Godwin Avenue between Carroll Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said. Pennsylvania HS Senior Wins National Taco Bell Scholarship For $25K
A high school senior and Taco Bell employee in Cumberland County won the national Taco Bell scholarship contest, according to the company’s foundation’s website. Emma Seibert, of Enola works at the Taco Bell on Market Place Way and earlier this week she find out that she won the biggest scholarship her employer offers. Her $25,000 scholarship will help cover her tuition at John Hopkins University where she plans to study nursing.
