Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Zach Pascal was robbed at gunpoint of a diamond necklace early Friday, March 3 in Maryland, according to various news reports citing sources in law enforcement. Pascal, 28, had his diamond necklace stolen in the assault in Upper Marlboro, his hometown, according to 6abc. Prince George's County police said their office was closed for comment until Monday. Wrong Murder Suspect Arrested In Maryland, Police Say
Police arrested the wrong suspect in this week's deadly shooting of Benjamin Ampong in Prince George's County, they announced. Anthony Shaw, 31, of Washington DC, was released from custody Friday, May 6, when detectives investigating Wednesday's 1 p.m. shooting at Corning Avenue in Fort Washington found evidence indicating he was not near the scene of the murder, Prince George's County police said. : Maryland Man Allegedly Behind Two Homicides In Prince George's County
A man from Prince George's County has been arrested in connection with a homicide earlier this year, authorities said. Malique Harden, 21, of Suiltand, is charged with the shooting death of 58-year-old Michael Hawkins of Washington DC, Prince George's County Police said. Harden shot and killed Hawkins during a robbery at Hawkins' apartment in the 3800 block of St. Barnabas Road on Feb. 27, police said. Maryland Girl Faces Criminal Charges In Accidental Shooting Of Teenage Boy: Police
A 15-year-old girl faces manslaughter charges after shooting a 16-year-old boy in Oxon Hill, in what police believe was an accident, according to officials. The juvenile girl was handling a firearm at a home in the 4900 block of Glassmanor Drive when it discharged, striking the teenage boy at around 6:00 p.m. on Jan. 26, Prince George's County Police said. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. Detectives believe the shooting was an accident and are continuing their investigation.

Man Confesses To Shooting Pro Boxer Dead On Christmas Eve In Maryland: Police
A man has been arrested after confessing to killing a professional boxer on Christmas Eve -- who was driving his family to dinner, according to police. Markell Lewis, 25, of Clinton has been arrested for the fatal shooting in Temple Hills of 30-year-old Danny Kelly Jr., Prince George's County Police said. Kelly Jr. was behind the wheel of his family's SUV on St. Barnabas Road with his girlfriend and three children in the car when Lewis pulled up and opened fire, hitting Kelly around 4:40 p.m., police said. 15-Year-Old Boy Kills Family Members In Maryland Shooting Spree: Police
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after shooting his family members at their home in Clinton, authorities in Maryland announced. The victims were identified as 44-year-old Taledia Oxley and her 8-year-old son Asa Oxley. The suspect is a 15-year-old family member.
