Virginia Man Mails 'Prank' Pipe Bomb Stuffed Animal To Pennsylvania: Police A "suspicious package" from Virginia thought to contain a pipe bomb was part of a "prank," police in Pennsylvania announced on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023. The package sent from a VA man was received by a resident in the 5000 block of Martin Avenue, East Petersburg, PA around 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 3, 2023, according to a release by the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department. Grenade Found In Central PA Park, Police Say The Pennsylvania State Police Bomb Squad searched a local park after a "training type hand grenade that had been modified into an improvised explosive device," was found. A man told the Lebanon City police that he found the grenade while walking in Coleman Memorial Park on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.
