A Middletown man has been charged for fatally striking a York City resident at a Harrisburg intersection, court records obtained by Daily Voice detail. Jose Borrero, 34, died at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill on Friday, Dec. 9. He was identified by the Dauphin County Coroner's office. A 74-year-old man has been identified after he died at a hospital after being struck in a Central Pennsylvania crosswalk, police announced on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Tar Pee Tu of Charles Road in Lancaster, was struck in the crosswalk in the first block of Pitney Road in Lancaster at approximately 11:13 p.m. on Sept. 2, the East Lampeter Township Police Department detailed in a release. Pedestrian Struck Dead Leaving Sheetz: York County Coroner
A man was struck dead crossing a road in York County on Monday evening, authorities announced. The unidentified 58-year-old was hit by a 2001 Dodge Caravan driven by a 69-year-old Dillsburg man heading north in the far right lane of Carlisle Road near York Crossing Drive, West Manchester Police explained in a release on Tuesday. The man was walking from Sheetz diagonally, not in a crosswalk, when he was struck around 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 4, according to the York County Coroner's Office report. The woman who died after being hit by "multiple vehicles" in central Pennsylvania on Tuesday, January 24, 2023— committed suicide, authorities announced the following Thursday.
