Matthew J. Moser, 32, was sentenced by Lancaster County President Judge David Ashworth last week after pleading guilty to crimes resulting in the death of a man and a woman about a month apart, according to the district attorney. At Least 9 People Injured In 2 Turnpike Crashes In Lancaster County Two crashes in Lancaster County along the have closed a.section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and left between 9 and 15 people injured. The first crash was involving a single vehicle and a tractor-trailer in near mile marker 290 just before 1 p.m.-- no injuries were reported in that crash, according to Emergency Dispatch Services. Crash Closes PA Turnpike In Lancaster County The Pennsylvania Turnpike has closed in Lancaster due to a crash, according to turnpike officials. Emergency crews were called to the crash just west of Morgantown in Lancaster County along Route I-76 around 1 p.m. The westbound lanes have been closed between the Denver, Lancaster County, and Morgantown exits.
