Update Two 'Expected To Survive' Following Serious Crash In Lancaster, Police Say Two elderly people are expected to survive after reportedly being in critical condition— one with "life-threatening injuries"— following a "serious crash"  in Lancaster on Wednesday, Jan. 4, city police announced in an updated release the following afternoon. Officers were called to the two-vehicle crash in the 300 block of N. Emergency crews were called to the first fire “burning in a yard that was beginning to ignite the exterior of a home” on Jan. 4 at approximately 6:42 a.m., as stated in a release by the police.
