: Gun Pointed At Lancaster Child, Dad I-283, PA State Police Say
A man and his 11-year-old son had another driver point a gun at them in Central Pennsylvania, stated police announced in a release on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. The 48-year-old Lancaster dad told the state troopers that a white man in a 2014 burgundy Chevrolet Equinox pointed a gun at him and his son near Exit 2 along Interstate 283 in Swatara Township around 8:17 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023. No shots were fired but the man with the gun has not ben located.

PA Man Jumps Out Of Moving Vehicle During High Speed Chase From State Police
A car slammed into a central Pennsylvania business after the driver jumped out of it during a police chase on Saturday, according to a release by Pennsylvania state police. Darryl "DJ" Edward Royal Jr., 32, of Middletown, jumped out of a moving vehicle, continuing to run away-- while the car slammed into a local business, according to Pennsylvania state police. Crash Closes All Lanes Of I-283 In Harrisburg
A serious crash closed all lanes of Interstate 283 in Harrisburg on Monday afternoon, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. PennDOT tweeted that the accident closed all lanes at 4:19 p.m. UPDATE: Crash on I-283 northbound between (Beginning Of I-283) and Exit 2 - PA 441. All lanes closed. — 511PA Harrisburg (@511PAHarrisburg) May 24, 2021 The crash appears to involve a tractor-trailer, based on the traffic camera in the area.
