US News & World report released its annual list of Best High Schools in the U.S. on Tuesday morning, April 23. The rankings were determined by performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare students for college. Julia R. Masterman Secondary School in Philadelphia was rated the fourth best school in the nation. Downington STEM Academy also made the top 50, coming in at No. 46. Jeff Bezos' Ex-Wife Divorcing Suburban Philadelphia High School Chem Teacher Husband Jeff Bezos' ex-wife MacKenzie Scott has apparently filed for divorce from her second husband Dan Jewett, who taught chemistry in suburban Philadelphia, after less than two years of marriage. Scott, 52, filed a petition for divorce Monday, Sept. 26 in the King County Superior Court in Washington State, the New York Times reports. Jewett reportedly did not contest the divorce.
