Condolences are flooding in following the death of a 38-year-old woman on the PA Turnpike. Kelly M. Little, 38, was stopped in the right westbound lane in Clay Township around 2 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, when she was struck by a tractor trailer, police said in a news release. The tractor-trailer was going 65 mph when it struck Little's Mercedes-Benz and flipped the car on its passenger side, troopers said. Little, of Harrisburg, was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman has been charged after her vehicle was struck by a dump truck — entrapping her on Thursday morning, Northern Lancaster County Regional police explained. Rebecca Heebner was stuck in her 2005 Toyota Scion after she was struck by Glen Horning, who was driving a 2005 Peterbilt dump truck, owned by Martin Paving, according to the NLCRPD. The police were called to the crash on Hackman Road at the intersection with Hoover Drive, Clay Township at the Ephrata line (according to Google Maps) at 6:33 a.m. on Dec. 7. A 21-year-old man was caught with numerous pornographic images of children on his computer — only discovered after a cyber tip, the police announced on Monday, Aug. 28. The cyber tip led police to Matthew Joseph Puleo, who was arrested on Aug. 8, court documents show. A 14-year-old has been charged with sexually assaulting family pets and a sibling, authorities say. The unnamed Clay Township teen was charged and taken into custody on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, around 2:27 p.m., according to a release the following day by the Northern Lancaster County Regional police department. "The juvenile offender was lodged in secure holding for further evaluation. No further information or details are being released due to the age of the offender," the police say.

A central Pennsylvania fire chief allegedly sexually assault a 16-year-old who was volunteering with the fire department, police say. Clay Township Fire Chief, Donald E. A child under 1-year-old was found locked in an unattended car in Clay Township on Monday, according to the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department. A group of alarmed shoppers called 911 and began to seek out the owner of the car upon finding the infant locked inside a vehicle, screaming, covered in vomit in the area of the Subway at 1077 Sharpe Avenue. A home was destroyed by a smokey fire in Clay Township on Sunday, according to police. The fire was at a mobile home on Arrowhead Drive near Pleasant View and Moccasin drives around 1:56 p.m. according to Northern Lancaster County Regional police. There were no injuries reported. The cause and estimates of damages are unknown as of Monday afternoon.
