Homeowner Shoots Burglar In Central PA, Police Say A burglar was shot by the owner of the home they were breaking into on Sunday, May 14, 2023, police announced the following morning.  The New Cumberland Borough of Police Department was called to the burglary in the 300 block of Second Street at 8:14 p.m. When officers arrived, they learned that the homeowner shot the suspect and they fled the scene. West Shore Girl Who Ran Away From Home Found Safe, Police Say UPDATE: Olivia Rene Yost was safely returned to her family on Monday, May 1, 2023, police say. Additional information was not released.  ORIGINAL: A 14-year-old girl from Lemoyne has run away from home, West Shore Regional Police announced on Monday, May 1, 2023.  Olivia Rene Yost ran away from her home in the 500 Block of S. Third Street in Lemoyne on April 29, 2023, according to the police release.  Anyone with information on the location of Yost is asked to contact WSRPD at 717-238-9676.
