Serious Crash: Motorcyclist Suffers 'Significant Injuries', Lower Swatara PD
A motorcyclist is in the hospital after a serious crash over, authorities announced on March 15. The crash happened in the area of West Harrisburg Pike/PA 230 and Rosedale Avenue around 2 p.m. on March 13, Lower Swatara police explained. Officers were soon called to the scene of "a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle with injuries," as stated in the release. Toyota Recalling 1.8M RAV4s Over Hazardous Batteries
Toyota is recalling more than 1.8 million of its RAV4s over hazardous batteries. According to a press release issued on Wednesday, Nov. 1, some replacement 12-volt batteries of the size specified for 2013 to 2018 RAV4 models have smaller top dimensions than others. If a small-top battery is used for replacement and the hold-down clamp is not tightened correctly, the battery could move and potentially short-circuit, increasing risk of a fire. Toyota is conducting a large safety recall involving certain late model pick-up trucks. The auto giant announced that approximately 168,000 2022 and 2023 Toyota Tundra and Tundra Hybrid vehicles are subject to the recall due to a possible fire hazard.
