Chambersburg Man Dies In Ambulance After Crash Into Gas Station: Police A 51-year-old man died in a crash into four other vehicles, a gas pump, and a utility pole on Monday evening, Pennsylvania State Police announced the following day.  Johnny O. Epps of Chambersburg had been in the westbound turning lane of Lincoln Way West when he suddenly switched directions to go into the eastbound turning lane— apparently attempting to turn into the convenience store near Mercersburg Road, according to state police. That's when Troy L. Wolf, 59, of Gardners's Volvo struck Epps head-on — causing his pick-up to spin out twice, the police explained. …

Rollover Crash In Chambersburg: Authorities (Photos) Someone "self-extricated" from a sedan following a messy rollover crash in Chambersburg on Thursday, authorities say.  The car landed on its roof in the 800 block of Lincoln Way West at 7:53 a.m. on July 20, 2023, according to the Franklin Fire Company.  Emergency Medical Services evaluated the driver at the scene and no injuries were reported.  Fire crews handled the spilled fluids from the vehicle and cleaned up the debris.  All lanes of traffic are open.
