Hard Brake Propels Shippensburg Motorcyclist Into Jeep In Chambersburg: PSP A 30-year-old man is dead following a serious motorcycle crash in Chambersburg on Tuesday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.  Nathan Stepler was riding his 2002 Kawasaki 600 motorcycle on Lurgan Road — when he slammed on his breaks in an attempt to avoid crashing into Ralph Baylor, 72, of Newburg's 2021 Jeep as it turned left onto the road from Roxbury Road, state police explained.  Unfortunately, Nathan became airborne and his body struck the side of the Jeep around 6:11 a.m. on Sept. 12, troopers detailed.  Baylor was wearing his seatbelt and was unharmed. 25-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies At MD/PA Line, Coroner Says A 25-year-old motorcyclist has died in a crash on Monday, May 22, 2023, the York County Coroner's Office announced the following day. The man was driving a Kawaski motorcycle south on Route74/Delta Road in Peach Bottom Township "when he passed a vehicle, crossing over the double yellow line at a high rate of speed," according to the coroner's release. 17-Year-Old ID'd After Motorcycle Crash On Ritner Highway, Route 11 A Newville 17-year-old has been identified by his family following a deadly motorcycle crash involving a tractor-trailer at Ritner Highway and Route 11.  Drew Benfield was days away from graduating when his 1999 Kawasaki motorcycle "impacted with the trailer" of a 2017 Kenworth truck in the 3400 block of Ritner Highway onto Route 11 in West Pennsboro Township on Monday, May 8, 2023, around 12 p.m., according to a release by Pennsylvania State Police.  Patrick Dowler of Hagerstown, MD was driving the truck.
