Support is on the rise for the family of a 40-year-old New Jersey truck driver shot dead allegedly by a Florida man last week at a Pennsylvania truck stop. James Alexander Hilton, 40, of Southampton, NJ, was shot and killed at an I-78 truck stop in Upper Bern Township, early Friday morning, March 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police. A 62-year-old Florida man who died after being hit by an ambulance on a Pennsylvania highway has been identified, Dauphin County Officials announced on Friday, March 22. Michael Csernik of Jacksonville, FL was struck at the intersection of South Silver Road/Route 147 and Inglenook Road just north of US 322 in Reed Township, as detailed in a release by investigating trooper Mark Zearfaus with PSP Troop H - Newport. An indictment of 16 members of a violent mid-Atlantic crime ring has been unsealed and the federal agencies are naming names. Of the 16, eight of the alleged crime ring members were arrested in the morning on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, police in Fairfax County, Virginia announced later that day.
