We're going out with a bang. The final day of heat and humidity in New Jersey and Pennsylvania is expected to precede a brand-new round of strong to severe thunderstorms ahead of the arrival of a cold front, the National Weather Service says. Cause Of Death Revealed For Ephrata Man 'Trapped' By Conestoga River: Coroner
A second Ephrata man has ended up dead in an area waterway in under a week. Allen "Ray" Nolt, was driving along Cabin Drive in West Earl Township when his vehicle became "trapped in the high waters" of the Conestoga River on Monday morning, Chief Deputy Coroner Eric Bieber explained. The "submerged" 73-year-old was rescued from his vehicle and taken to WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital's Emergency Department, where he was pronounced dead at 7:43 a.m., on Dec. 18, Bieber detailed. Search Ends For Infant Lost In Bucks County Flood: Officials
After more than a week of active efforts to locate 9-month-old Conrad Sheils, Bucks County officials are ending their search. Sheils, his sister 2-year-old Matilda, and their mother Katie Seley were swept away in the flash flooding that submerged sections of Bucks on Sunday, July 16, Daily Voice has reported.
