PA Woman Pleads Guilty To Delivering Deadly Dose Of Fentanyl: Prosecutors
A Harleysville woman was convicted of bringing a 56-year-old the dose of fentanyl that killed them nearly two years ago. Valerie Benatti, 29, pleaded guilty to drug delivery resulting in death on Wednesday, May 1, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office. Authorities said they were called to a home on the 100 block of Slackwater Road in Conestoga Township for a suspected overdose on Aug. 20, 2022. Fellow Inmate Charged For Dad's Death In Central Pennsylvania Prison
The cause of death of a Pennsylvania father and inmate has been revealed and new charges have been filed, the Dauphin County District Attorney Fran Chardo announced on Tuesday. Michael Howard Butler II, 37 of Gratz, died following a "medical emergency" in his bunk in the Dauphin County Prison at 10:22 p.m. on Jan. 17, 2024, as Daily Voice previously reported. Fentanyl-Formula Elixir That Killed Infant Lands Parents In Prison
The Maryland mom who accidentally contaminated her baby's bottle with fentanyl leading to his death will be joining her husband behind bars. Heather Marie Frazier, 35, of Mount Airy, was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with all but five years suspended after pleading guilty over the summer to involuntary manslaughter, according to the Frederick County State's Attorney Charlie Smith's Office.
