PA Man Tried To Lure Child From NJ Wawa With Candy: Prosecutor Authorities have arrested a Pennsylvania man who allegedly tried abducting a 7-year-old boy at a South Jersey Wawa by luring him with candy. Thomas Cannon, 79, of Camp Hill, was arrested in connection with the incident on Thursday, June 1, 2023, according to Cumberland County NJ Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. He was charged with one count of child endangerment, she said. The suspect is also alleged to have grabbed the child’s arm, she said.
