23 Animals Found Neglected, Malnourished In Pennsylvania Home: Troopers (Photos) Twenty-three animals living in “severe neglect” were removed from a Coaldale home on Monday, May 20, state police said in a release. Charges are pending against the 69-year-old homeowner, according to troopers. Manheim Family Caught Dealing Thousands Of Grams Of THC, Abusing 18 Animals, Authorities Say A Manheim family of four was caught "dealing marijuana and neglecting several animals" at their home, the Lancaster County District Attorney's office says. Jordan, 24; Austin, 21; Scott, 49; and Heide Breland, 46, all of the 100 block of West Colebrook Street, were arrested following a search warrant executed Jan. 13 at approximately 10:50 a.m. by Members of the Drug Task Force, with the assistance of Manheim Borough Police. Chambersburg Man Charged With 75 Counts Of Animal Abuse, Neglect: Police A Chambersburg man was caught hoarding and neglecting cats, the area police announced on Friday, Nov. 18.  38-year-old Roy Thomas was arrested following a welfare check after receiving reports about the multitudes of cats seeming to be living in the unit block of West Catherine Street on August 9, 2022.  During a warranted search, the police found 25 cats in various conditions.  The cats were evaluated by veterinarians at a local shelter where "they were all deemed to be neglected of proper care," the police say.  Roy Thomas "was charged for his part in the neglect," i…
