Tyemeshia Miller, 19, of Harrisburg was found shot in the back in the area of North 4th and Woodbine streets around 5:45 p.m. on May 13, according to the Bureau's release and the Dauphin County Coroner's Office.
Arriving officers found Miller suffering from the gunshot wound. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she died from her injuries, the police said.
The shot entered her left side and exited her right but police noted that multiple shots were heard in an audio recording someone took on a cellphone.
The manner of death was a homicide, the coroner announced following an autopsy.
The Dauphin County Coroner's Office then made the following statement:
"The victim was also expecting a baby boy. Baby boy Miller’s cause of death was ruled to be asphyxia due to maternal death. His manner of death was also determined to be a homicide."
She was five months pregnant, according to the police.
An investigation into this deadly shooting is ongoing.

Tyemeshia Miller was a Philadelphia native who moved to Harrisburg and studied at John Harris High School, according to her social media. She went on to work at Hollister Co. and study at Penn State.
She already had a daughter and thought she was expecting a girl and even posted in a comment on March 12 "I’m so mad bruh I wanted a boy," based on the coroner's report she was going to get her wish.
Her very last public post was made the day before she passed, which was Mother's Day, so she made a tribute to her mom who died of cancer.
Additional details about her life were not immediately available.
Funeral and memorial service information was not shared at the time of publishing.
