For an unknown reason the person had slammed their car into a tree at 671 Boyer Mill Road, Hamilton Township, around 8:30 p.m, according to the Franklin Fire Company.
The crew was initially dispatched "as an auto accident with entrapment," but they did not find any entrapment upon arrival.
The extent of their injuries is unknown, and no one else was involved in the crash. It is not immediately clear if helicopters were busy, understaffed, unable to access the area, or could not come for some other reason.
