Teen Wanted In PA Home Invasion, Deadly NJ Train Station Shooting Captured: Marshals
A New Jersey fugitive wanted in a deadly train station shooting and a home invasion was arrested in northeastern Pennsylvania, authorities said. U.S. Marshals took 19-year-old Damian Bass into custody, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said in a news release on Friday, Sept. 6. Bass' last known address was in Fanwood. Bass was charged with first-degree murder and two weapons offenses. He was accused of shooting and killing 43-year-old James Hailey of Newark. 1 Dead In Poconos Area House Fire: Police
One person died when a house went up in flames in Monroe County early Wednesday, Aug. 17, authorities said. The unidentified victim was trapped and died inside the home on Hill Road in Chestnuthill Township, Pennsylvania State Police said. Multiple area fire departments were called to the scene along with the county coroner. The cause remains under investigation by the Troop N Fern Ridge Criminal Investigation Unit along with the Troop N Fire Marshal. Additional details were not immediately known.

Poconos Motorcyclist Killed In Labor Day Crash
A motorcyclist died after colliding with another vehicle in the Poconos on Labor Day, authorities said. Kayson Calim, 26, was traveling south on Route 209 near Wehr Lake Road in Chestnuthill Township around 6:30 p.m. when a car was turning left out of an Exxon gas station onto Route 209 north, according to PA State Police. Calim lost control of the motorcycle and struck the car, state police said. The Bushkill resident was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck head-on, authorities said.
