Philadelphia Driver Who Killed Teen Mom Was Trying To Flee From Being Assaulted: Police The driver who backed into a 17-year-old girl, killing her, was trying to flee from an assailant outside of a Philadelphia charter school earlier this week, police said. The unidentified driver backed into Saniah Moore outside of Excel Academy South on Wednesday, Sept. 28 around 1:55 p.m., according to city police and Moore's family. Saniah was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where she was pronounced dead at 2:25 p.m., authorities said. The driver was a student in the school, who police say was arrested and cooperating.
