Central PA Mom ID'd As RM Palmer Company HR Director Killed In Chocolate Factory Explosion A 49-year-old Ephrata mom has been identified as one of the victims of the RM Palmer Company Chocolate Factory explosion, according to the Berks County Coroner's office. Amy Futer Sandoe, is believed to have died "instantly" as she was leaving the office, according to her family, although the coroner has yet to confirm this. She had been with the company since August 2019 in the Human Resources Department and she had become the director of the department in January 2022, according to her LinkedIn. York Schools Employee Dies Of Self-Inflicted Gunshot In Local Park A 47-year-old woman has died from a self-inflicted at a public park, according to the York County coroner. Jennifer Beach Dettinger, of Dallastown, died at Kline's Run Park near Long Level Road in Lower Windsor Township on Sunday shortly after 9 a.m. Her death has been ruled a suicide due to a gunshot wound to the head, according to the coroner. Dettinger worked as the human resources specialist for the School District of the City of York, according to a "Where are they now?" alumni post by the district.
