Police Officer Hurt In Bucks County Crash: Authorities
A Perkasie police officer was briefly hospitalized and a driver is in custody after a two-car crash on Sunday night, Nov. 19, according to officials. The officer was headed north on Arthur Avenue near the Perkasie Library around 9:30 p.m. when a southbound Volkswagen Tiguan crossed into his lane, authorities said. After an "offset head-on collision," the officer was treated at Grandview Hospital and released, said the department. Bensalem Police ID Human Remains In 1995 Cold Case
The human remains found behind a diner in Bensalem over 26 years ago have been identified, authorities announced. The adult skeletal remains, which were found on Sept. 18, 1995, in the woods behind the Club House Diner on Street Road, belong to Merrybeth Hodgkinson, according to the Bensalem Police Department. She was unclothed and wrapped in a plastic tarp, police said. The death was classified as a homicide by unspecified means and investigators said that the body had been there for two to three years. A Pennsylvania construction employee was arrested on felony charges for allegedly traveling to South Jersey for sex with a 14-year-old girl, authorities said. A Telford man who told authorities he was possessed by the devil was slapped with various assault and abuse charges Tuesday after police say he sexually abused two girls ages 8 and 10, and took upskirt photos of a 16-year-old girl, as first reported by NorthPennNow.
