A North Philadelphia man faces assault and reckless endangerment charges after police said he accidentally shot his girlfriend's daughter. Authorities said Derrick Marshall's gun accidentally discharged in the parking lot of the 3137 N. Broad St. McDonald's, striking the 9-year-old girl in the calf on Wednesday evening, April 10. A Pennsylvania man who stabbed his aunt and her husband to death in the Poconos has learned his fate, WFMZ reports. Lancelot Fortune, 31, of Stroudsburg, was sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence in the 2018 killings, the outlet says citing court documents.
