Bucks County, PA, Man Convicted Of Killing South Jersey Teenager In Stolen Car: Prosecutor
A 24-year-old Bucks County, PA, man was convicted of murder for fatally shooting a teenager at a gas station in South Jersey, authorities said.
Tamir Phillips of Bensalem was found guilty of murder and weapons offenses after a jury trial, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw.
The investigation began the afternoon of August 21, 2021, when Willingboro Township police officers were called to the Phillips 66 gas station in the first block of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for a report of a shooting.

Philadelphia Man, 56, Killed As SUV Collides With Truck Carrying 42,000 Lbs. Of Sugar: Report
A 56-year-old man from Philadelphia was killed after crashing head-on into a tractor-trailer carrying 42,000 pounds of sugar in South Jersey, NJ Advance Media reported.
Hien Dinh Nguyen was driving an SUV east on High Hill Road in Logan Township at about 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 12 when he veered into the oncoming lane, the outlet said, quoting Logan Township Police.
Nguyen was pronounced dead at the scene, while the truck driver was not hurt, according to the report.
The crash remains under investigation.

Federal agents followed a tractor-trailer loaded with nearly 250 pounds of cocaine for more than 75 miles from South Jersey to New York before busting the driver and a co-conspirator in Yonkers, authorities said.
They were right behind when Eddie Velez-Pena, 33, of Yonkers, stopped the tractor-trailer in the Hunterdon County town of Hampton, NJ, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.

A 22-year-old South Jersey man has been indicted on murder and attempted murder charges in connection with a recording studio shooting that killed one and wounded two others in Cumberland County, NJ Advance Media reports.
Tyzir S. Hall, of Clementon, was indicted by a grand jury last week in the Feb. 8, 2021, death of Shaheed Little, 31, of Sicklerville. Hall was additionally charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses, the outlet said.

Philadelphia Man Arrested In 7-Eleven Armed Robbery, South Jersey Police Say
A 44-year-old man from Philadelphia man has been arrested in connection with a hold-up at a South Jersey 7-Eleven, authorities said.
John Grubbs was charged by Evesham police with first-degree robbery, aggravated assault, theft and several weapons offenses, police said.
On Nov. 2, 2020, at 5:15 a.m., Evesham police responded to the 7-Eleven at 2 East Main St., for an armed robbery.
