A 31-year-old New Jersey man wanted out of Pennsylvania was arrested after he was found with a stolen car and then led officers on a foot pursuit over the weekend, police said. Robert Hollingsworth, who was charged in Easton, PA with car theft last year, became the center of an investigation in Fairfield (Essex County), NJ, on Saturday, March 30, when police were notified of a stolen green Kia Soul stolen out of Passaic three days prior, Fairfield police said in a release. Authorities arrested a tow truck driver from Philadelphia who they said kept on going after hitting and seriously injuring a 67-year-old pedestrian crossing Route 46 six weeks ago. Naser Abu Ali, 20, was driving a 2014 Ford transit van that hit Elizabeth Crum as she crossed at the light on Route 46 (Winant Avenue) in Ridgefield Park on Sept. 24, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. A Pennsylvania State Police trooper shot at a pickup truck that struck a police vehicle on Route 80 during a Friday night pursuit that began in New Jersey, authorities said.
