Three new criminals have been added to the Pennsylvania State Police's "Ten Most Wanted" list. The three newest fugitives replace three who have been captured. Registered Sex Offender Attacks Corrections Officers In Central PA Prison 2x In Year: Police
A registered sex offender— currently accused of raping a child— has attacked corrections officers in a central Pennsylvania prison for the second time, authorities say. Corey Alan Bennett, 30, of Chambersburg, attacked three Cumberland County Prison corrections officers and a fellow inmate Middlesex Township Police announced on Oct. 10, 2022. The attack left all four victims with "visible injuries," the police say. Man Who Lured, Raped Girls Nabbed At PA Mall In Undercover Sting: Police
An 18-year-old man who started online relationships with three girls under the age of 15 and raped at least one of them, was caught in a police sting at a Pennsylvania mall, according to a release by police. Lancaster City Bureau of police began investigating Robert Jesus Medina Jr., of Lancaster, after receiving a tip about "his sexual relationships with numerous young girls" in September 2021. Former PA State Police Trooper Found Guilty Of Sexually Abusing Child
A jury found a former Pennsylvania State Police trooper guilty of sexually abusing a child, authorities said. Darren Lawrence, 61, of Wilmington, DE, is accused of sexually abusing a girl in his care from 2006 through 2009 when she was between 9 and 12 years old, according to the Chester County District Attorney's Office. The woman, who is now over 21 years old, informed Chester County detectives in February 2020 that she was sexually assaulted by Lawrence between the aforementioned ages, authorities said.
