Driver Dies After Palmer Township Crash, Coroner Says One driver died from his injuries after a crash in Palmer Township on Tuesday evening, Jan. 30, officials say.  Joseph R. Hoagland, 68, suffered a medical emergency that led to a wreck in the parking lot of the William Penn Highway Weis, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office.  Hoagland, of Wilson Borough, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital - Anderson Campus where he passed from blunt force chest injuries on Wednesday, Jan. 31, authorities said. Temple Grad Blake Herdlein Dies, 26 Former New Jersey resident and Temple University graduate Blake Herdlein died on Thursday, March 9. He was 26 years old. A Rochester, NY native, Blake grew up in Greenwich Township, having attended Greenwich Elementary School, Stewartsville Middle School, Bethlehem Catholic High School, Phillipsburg High School, and Warren County Community College, his obituary says. Blake went on to graduate from Temple University's Fox School of Business, before opening his own marketing firm, Herdlein, LLC. Hunterdon County Father, Lehigh Valley Hospital Radiology Tech John Hopkins Dies, 36 Hunterdon County father and Lehigh Valley Hospital worker John Paul Hopkins died Feb. 7 at the age of 36. Hopkins graduated from Phillipsburg High School and completed an Associates in Applied Science degree in Radiography at Northampton Community College, his obituary says. Hopkins worked as a radiology technician at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury, PA and lived in Clinton at the time of his death, his memorial says.
