Carjacker Tried Climbing Through Chesco Driver's Window: Police A would-be car thief struggled to hijack several vehicles in Oxford Borough Saturday night, according to police.  Warren Hatfield, 38, of Oxford, is charged with robbery of a motor vehicle and multiple related felonies, authorities said in a release.  Borough police were called to the Oxhaven Apartments around 7:20 p.m. on July 29, where witnesses said they saw Hatfield open the door of a passing woman's vehicle.  Hatfield allegedly "instructed her to drive away," which she refused and fled the car, police said. Chesco Burglar 'Lunged' At Homeowner With Knife: Police A Chester County resident returned to their home to find a knife-wielding stranger loitering inside, according to authorities.  Oxford Borough police were called to a home on the 300 block of South Fifth Street for a burglary in progress just before midnight on Tuesday, May 16, the department wrote in a release.  They arrived to find 21-year-old Nicole M. Parsons of Nottingham standing on the porch, police said.  The homeowner told police he found Parsons in the home when he arrived.
